From January to December 2018, the total import and e*port volume of Wu*i City was about 93.4 billion US dollars, 15% year-on-year growth, ranking 2nd in the province. E*cellent transportation location, strong economic strength, good industrial base, long history and culture, and rich tourism resources make Wu*i enjoy the reputation of “small Shanghai”. 2018 Wu*i City was rated as the top 20 national central cities, the most livable city in mainland China, the top 10 foreign-invested strategic cities in the Asia-Pacific region, and one of the most internationally competitive cities in China. It was also named the best business cities in mainland China, one of the most innovative cities in mainland China, by Forbes magazine.

近年來(lái)，無(wú)錫傳統(tǒng)產(chǎn)業(yè)智能化步伐加快，新興產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展勢(shì)頭良好。規(guī)模以上戰(zhàn)略性新興產(chǎn)業(yè)（制造業(yè)）增加值增長(zhǎng)13.9%。積極籌建國(guó)家物聯(lián)網(wǎng)創(chuàng)新中心、無(wú)錫國(guó)家集成電路設(shè)計(jì)產(chǎn)業(yè)園、國(guó)家芯火雙創(chuàng)基地平臺(tái)、海爾物聯(lián)生態(tài)網(wǎng)基地等應(yīng)用示范項(xiàng)目成功簽約落戶，成功舉辦2018世界物聯(lián)網(wǎng)博覽會(huì)，2018中國(guó)（無(wú)錫）國(guó)際新能源大會(huì)暨展覽會(huì)等會(huì)展活動(dòng)142個(gè)，啟動(dòng)“千企上云”行動(dòng)，100個(gè)智能制造重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目建設(shè)進(jìn)展順利，SK海力士中國(guó)銷售總部落戶無(wú)錫，截止到2018年底落戶無(wú)錫的世界500強(qiáng)企業(yè)已超過(guò)100家。
